Alumni Awards

Distinguished DVM Alumni Award

The Distinguished DVM Alumni Award honors our DVM alumni for excellence in the veterinary profession. It dates back to 1978, when the first award was given posthumously to Dr. David Mullis (PU DVM '67). The award was established by the members of the Class of 1967 as a memorial tribute to their classmate. Only a select few of the College's more than 3,000 Doctor of Veterinary Medicine graduates are honored as Distinguished Alumni.
