In Memory: Dr. Edward Northrop (PU DVM ’75)

The Purdue Veterinary Medicine family is saddened by the passing of a member of the DVM Class of 1975, Dr. Edward J. Northrop, of Mulberry, Ind., who died February 5 at his home following a long-term illness. He was 71.

Diversity Learning Cafés Continue in the New Year

Last semester, the Purdue Veterinary Medicine Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion launched a new Virtual Learning Café series featuring critical conversations designed to foster discussion with the intent to enlighten, encourage, and inspire others to get engaged. That series continues this semester with discussions centered on the topic of “Difficult Conversations” to be held monthly on Wednesdays from 12:30 – 1:20 p.m.
New Veterinary Hospital Gets New Name Thanks to Generosity of PVM Alumnus and His Wife

As the date for opening the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine’s new hospital facilities draws closer, the Purdue Board of Trustees has approved a new name for the complex in recognition of a $10 million leadership commitment from PVM alumnus David Brunner and his wife, Bonnie.
