The John Van Vleet Global Engagement House
The John Van Vleet Global Engagement House (GE house) offers a great environment for academically focused students, as well as, professionals who are interested in apartment living in a quiet neighborhood away from campus. The GE house was donated to the school by Dr. Hugh and Mair Lewis, and was named in honor of Dr. John F. Van Vleet, professor emeritus and former Associate Dean for academic affairs.
Housing Information
The house is located at 115 1/2 South 31st Street, Lafayette, IN 47904 (it’s the right side of the duplex, two DVM students live on the left side).

Transportation
Bus
Catch the #7 bus (every 30 minutes) at the NW corner of Earl Avenue & Ferry Street (4.5 blocks north of the house).
At the downtown bus depot, transfer to either the #1B or #4B bus and take to the State St. & Marsteller St. stop. Walk South to Harrison Street and arrive at Lynn Hall. It will take at least 45 minutes to travel from the GE House to Lynn Hall.
To use the bus outside of campus, you will need a bus pass. You can find information about bus passes here.

Payment for Rental Property
