There are different types of international opportunities from which you can choose. It is important to recognize the differences between these program types, because certain programs fit certain personalities and goals.

PVM Faculty are engaged internationally and have built strong ties with partner universities throughout the world. Our faculty leaders organize programs that last for 2-3 weeks. These options are great for students who want a prearranged program that provides more on-site support and allows them to travel with other PVM students.
The Global Engagement Office has connections with universities, clinics, and wildlife centers around the world. This offers you the opportunity to design an international experience based off your individual goals. VN students can do their practicum abroad, and DVM students can pursue independent opportunities the summer after their 1st or 2nd year, or any time during their 4th year!
