Collection Information
Collect blood in appropriate vacutainer tube. Allow blood to clot on side of tube. Centrifuge to separate serum from clot - if necessary. Transfer serum into leak proof tube. Refrigerate until sample shipment.
Shipping Information
Ship specimens overnight with an ice pack. DO NOT SHIP OVER WEEKEND OR HOLIDAY.
Additional Information
DO NOT FREEZE.Testing at the ADDL West Lafayette location will be initiated on an as-needed basis.
ADDL Heeke location tests will be started as time allows.
Tests with positive results must have a follow-up confirmation test. Please note that the confirmatory testing process will result in delays in results.
