Collection Information
Collect blood in appropriate vacutainer tube. Allow blood to clot on side of tube. Centrifuge to separate serum from clot - if necessary. Transfer serum into leak proof tube. Refrigerate until sample shipment.
Shipping Information
Ship specimens overnight with an ice pack. DO NOT SHIP OVER WEEKEND OR HOLIDAY.
No hemolyzed samples will be accepted.
Additional Information
This test is currently being performed at the West Lafayette ADDL. Samples must arrive by 5 pm on Wednesday prior to testing.Quick Links
