Collection Information
Collect blood in appropriate vacutainer tube. Allow blood to clot on side of tube. Centrifuge to separate serum from clot - if necessary. Transfer serum into leak proof tube. Refrigerate until sample shipment.
Shipping Information
Ship specimens overnight with an ice pack. DO NOT SHIP OVER WEEKEND OR HOLIDAY.
Additional Information
This test is only performed at ADDL Heeke lab in Dubois, IN. Please submit samples directly to Heeke Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory at the Southern Indiana Purdue Agricultural Center, 11367 E. Purdue Farm Road, Dubois, IN 47527-9666.Post processing sera shall be tested within 30 days of submission.
