Dr. Aitor Arrazola is a Biologist interested in studying and understanding fundamental research questions about animal behavior and how to apply this information to improve animal welfare through research. His previous research experience focused on the welfare and behavior of poultry (mainly broiler breeder hens and roosters) and large animals. Currently, he is joining the Croney lab as a postdoctoral researcher looking at the welfare and behavioral indicators of breeding dogs in licensed facilities in Indiana.
