Our Distance Learning Program for Veterinary Technology, also known as Vet Tech, is flexible and can fit into your busy schedule. Take control of your future in veterinary technology by gaining the knowledge and experience you need to excel in your career. Earn an associates degree in as little as three years and kickstart your career 100% online!

Please note that we are changing our program name to Veterinary Technology (formerly Veterinary Nursing). The formal name change will occur with the fall 2026 admission cycle for fall 2027 admission into the program. All documents will be officially updated at that time. During this time of transition, you may see both names referenced across our website and other University materials, such as admissions documents and our admission application. Please know that these names refer to the same program. This change will not affect the curriculum, accreditation, or the quality of education you receive. Veterinary Technology Distance Learning Information Sessions

The Veterinary Technology Distance Learning (VTDL) program will be hosting live information sessions via Zoom on January 20, 2026 at 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.

Please note that we are in the process of changing the name of our program to the Veterinary Technology Distance Learning (VTDL) program (formerly veterinary nursing). During this time of transition, you may see references to the Veterinary Nursing Distance Learning (VNDL) program. Please know that these names refer to the same program.

These sessions are open to anyone interested in learning more about the program. Topics will include:

Financial aid opportunities and the admissions process
An overview of the VTDL program and its structure
Clinical mentorships and hands-on learning experiences
Strategies for successfully completing an online program
Study abroad opportunities for VTDL students
