The annual PVM Career Fair is the biggest job-seeker event for the college. Both DVM and veterinary nursing students get the opportunity to network and interview with employers. Some might even get their first big job!
Friday, November 3, 2023
1:00–4:00 p.m. with a social reception to follow
Creighton Hall, Purina Pavilion, 270 S. Russell St., West Lafayette, IN 47907
The PVM Career Fair is a traditional way for students to get professional exposure and land opportunities where they can intern and potentially work for after graduation. Students also get to practice their networking and interviewing skills. More than 50 practices and companies come together to actively engage with our future vets and vet nurses.
The event is organized by the Office of Student Services.
Whether you are a student or employer, learn what you need to know to make the best of your experience.
The career fair is open to all 1st–4th year Veterinary Students and 2nd–4th year Veterinary Nursing Students.
No registration is needed!
We recommend wearing professional attire, have copies of your resume, and be prepared to communicate with prospective employers about their opportunities and your knowledge and skills.
We invite a variety of private practices, corporate practices, and non-practicing organizations to participate. Our goal each year is to have a variety of opportunities for all our students.
As we get closer to the event, we will provide important dates to register, pay, and finalize participation. Employers can anticipate more updates beginning of the fall semester in August.
If you are an employer interested in attending the Career Fair, please let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
