Holly Englert is the Assistant Director of Advising for the Veterinary Nursing program. She earned a B.Ed. in Early Childhood Education from the University of Toledo and a MA in Education Leadership, Higher Education Administration from Eastern Michigan University. Outside of work, where advising students is her passion, Holly enjoys reading, baking, and spoiling her sassy cat Penny.

Stephanie is an Academic Advisor for Veterinary Nursing Distance Learning students. Stephanie earned her master's degree at the University of Central Arkansas in College Student Personnel Services and Administration and her bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in Criminal Justice. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and her miniature schnauzer mix, Wrigley (named after Wrigley Field, not Wrigley gum). She is a big Chicago Cubs fan and considers Wrigley the lucky charm to the 2016 World Series Win as they rescued him before the World Series began.

Academic Advisor, Veterinary Nursing Distance Learning Program
Shelly is a senior academic advisor for the Veterinary Nursing Distance Learning (VNDL) program. She earned a BS from Purdue University and has been with the University since 2000. Shelly enjoys getting to know the students in the VNDL program and walking alongside them as they navigate online learning and reaching their goals. Outside of work, Shelly enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with her two granddaughters, reading, and playing with her labradoodles, Whiskey and Finn.
Laurie is an Academic Advisor for the Veterinary Nursing Distance Learning (VNDL) program. She earned her AS in Veterinary Technology and BS in Business Management from Purdue. She started out working as an RVT in a small animal practice and then as a lab technician for Eli Lilly & Company in Indianapolis for a few years. She then pursued a MS in Education and taught middle school science for several years. She greatly enjoys helping students maximize their potential and pursue their dreams and goals. In her free time, Laurie enjoys playing pickleball, walking, hiking, kayaking, and camping. She also loves sports and enjoys watching her kids compete as well as watching and rooting for the Purdue Boilermakers!
