DVM and Veterinary Technology students enjoyed interacting with veterinary practice representatives at the 2025 PVM Career Fair.

Close to 75 veterinary medical employers, ranging from individual veterinary practices to corporate enterprises, sent representatives to Purdue University for the College of Veterinary Medicine’s annual Career Fair for DVM and Veterinary Technology students. Held in the Purdue Memorial Union Ballrooms Friday afternoon, September 19, the event attracted a strong turnout of students excited to learn about future career opportunities.

Employers came from across Indiana as well as other states to showcase their facilities and workplace cultures as they shared about employment opportunities. The students were able to learn about full-time positions, summer experiences, practicums, internships and externships.

To help ensure that students didn’t forget about potential opportunities here at Purdue, the Purdue University Veterinary Hospital also was represented at the event. Additionally, the Indiana State board of Animal Health, the Indian State Poultry Association and some non-profits participated.

The annual event is hosted by PVM’s Student Success Center. Employers are invited to register for booth space at the event. This year’s Career Fair coincided with the Purdue Veterinary Conference, which was held September 16-20.
