Transportation

Purdue University's campus is accessible by all modes of transportation.

By Plane (+ Shuttle Service)

Indianapolis International Airport (IND) is serviced by most major airlines and their partner airlines. Ground transportation to Purdue from the Indianapolis International Airport includes:

Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) is located approximately 140 miles north of West Lafayette and is approximately a three-hour drive from the airport to Purdue. Ground transportation direct from the airport to campus is available through the shuttle services listed below: 

By Train

Amtrak Train service to Lafayette is available from Indianapolis, Chicago and several other cities.

By Bus

Greyhound Bus services the Lafayette-West Lafayette area from the Chicago, Gary, Hammond and Indianapolis hubs. Schedules and fares vary, so consult the Greyhound website or call (800) 231-2222. 

Parking Options

FREE parking will be available at the First United Methodist Church (1700 State Road 26 W. West Lafayette, IN) Shuttles will be available to/from Stewart Center throughout the progarm. 

Shuttle Schedule

The shuttle runs a continuous loop between First United Methodist Church and other campus locations during the three days of the conference.

Wednesday / Thursday / Friday Shuttle Schedule

  • First United Methodist Church - 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Stewart Center West Entrance - 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

On Campus Visitor Parking 
  • The Grant Street Parking Garage (located adjacent to the Purdue Memorial Union) offers visitor parking for $10/day.
  • Daily guest "A" space parking permits are available for purchase through Purdue Parking Services. "A" permits allow you to park in campus "A" garages and surface lots marked for "A" permits. These permits cannot be used for parking in the Grant Street Garage.
  • Guests staying at the Purdue Union Club Hotel are offered free parking in the adjacent Grant Street Garage.

Conference attendees must secure their own overnight lodging. Purdue Veterinary Medicine recommends reserving your hotel room at one of the preferred hotels listed below.
