On-Campus Veterinary Technology Program
The Veterinary Technology program is a science-based veterinary technology program with three degree options:
- Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology
- Associate in Applied Science
Please note that we are changing our program name to Veterinary Technology (formerly Veterinary Nursing). The formal name change will occur with the fall 2026 admission cycle for fall 2027 admission into the program. All documents will be officially updated at that time. During this time of transition, you may see both names referenced across our website and other University materials, such as admissions documents and our admission application. Please know that these names refer to the same program. This change will not affect the curriculum, accreditation, or the quality of education you receive. As I was doing college research my senior year of high school, I saw that Purdue had an amazing hands on Vet Tech program. Looking at the website, I could see myself doing what the Vet Technicians were doing in the pictures. I wanted to be just like them.
