Purdue Veterinary Teaching Hospital Achieves #1 Ranking

Several media outlets reported on the Veterinary Teaching Hospital being ranked number one in North America in the most recent CalPro Research Referring Veterinarian Survey that included 26 hospitals.  The Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine is only the second college to have received the #1 ranking for the benchmark rating called the “Overall Hospital Rating.” The national survey evaluates veterinary teaching hospitals on the basis of referring veterinarians’ feedback concerning responsiveness, communication, client and patient experience, and quality of medicine.

Awards and Presentations Highlight Scholarship of PVM Researchers

The importance of scientific discovery and the research contributions of veterinary students, graduate students, residents, and faculty alike, were recognized during the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine’s annual PVM Research Day this spring. During a day long program in Lynn Hall on April 15, PVM scholars shared research findings during lectures and poster presentations, and were honored with awards.
