New Intern Joins PVM Communications Team

Caroline Keim

The Purdue Veterinary Medicine communications team is pleased to welcome a new intern, Caroline Keim, who started February 14.

Caroline is a senior studying media and mass communications, as well as professional writing, through the Brian Lamb School of Communications in the College of Liberal Arts. She currently also interns for Purdue’s official university podcast, This Is Purdue, as well as SiriusXM’s The Megyn Kelly Show. In both roles, she assists with research and editorial tasks.

Caroline’s campus involvement includes being a member of the Purdue Student Concert Committee where she formerly served as production chair, and now as one of the committee’s student advisors. Additionally, Caroline hosts a radio show through Purdue’s WCCR Student Radio. She has been hosting her show for over three years and loves spending time at the station’s studio.

In her free time, Caroline enjoys listening to music and podcasts, attending concerts, and hanging out with her five-year-old black lab, Ruby Sue. Caroline and Ruby have been inseparable since Mother’s Day in 2019 when her family brought Ruby home. Without fail, Ruby will always tag along for a ‘pup cup’ on Caroline’s morning coffee runs.

Caroline is passionate about telling the stories of incredible people, animals, and research, and is thrilled to contribute to the PVM communications team this semester. You can reach out to Caroline at cakeim@purdue.edu.
