Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine alumni stood out from the large crowds of veterinary professionals attending the Viticus Group 2025 WVC Annual Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada as they gathered for the Purdue Veterinary Alumni Reception held in conjunction with the conference. The event Monday evening, March 3, attracted close to 70 alumni who met up at the Rhythm and Rifts lounge located just off the Mandalay Bay casino floor. The venue was awash in full black and gold lighting, which captured the attention of proud Purdue alumni and friends as they walked back to their hotel rooms from the conference’s continuing education sessions held in the neighboring convention center.
The Boilermaker veterinary professionals had a fantastic time reconnecting with colleagues and former classmates while mingling with PVM faculty and staff who were attending the conference. Among the Purdue Veterinary Medicine alumni in attendance were Dr. Adam Miller (PU DVM 2007), who currently serves on the Viticus Group Board of Directors, and several past board members, including Dr. Miguel Ortiz (PU DVM 2009), and two former presidents of the WVC – Dr. Debbie White (PU DVM 1994) and Dr. W. Mark Hilton (PU DVM 1983).
