Today we applaud Dr. Leah Douglas, who is a resident in Ophthalmology at the Purdue University Veterinary Hospital. A student shared her appreciation for Dr. Douglas, stating, “Dr. Douglas is an incredible person! I appreciate her constant kindness and support, even after we “graduate” the ophthalmology rotation. She never ceases to brighten the day of her students, even when she is just passing by. Dr. Douglas took the time to comfort me during a classic fourth-year student moment of vulnerability and provided words of encouragement. She is incredible!”
