Alumni Celebrate at PVM Reception during AVMA Annual Convention

Purdue Veterinary Medicine alumni reconnected at the Purdue Alumni and Friends Reception, which was held July 29 during the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Nearly 65 guests attended and took advantage of the opportunity to visit with colleagues and PVM faculty and staff.  Dean Willie Reed greeted the attendees and gave an update on the college, highlighting the newly-opened Purdue University Veterinary Hospital facilities as well as faculty accomplishments and honors, and the important work being done by the Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory.  The AVMA’s 2022 Convention attracted more than 7,000 on-site attendees, with another 1,000 joining the conference virtually July 29-August 2.
