Outstanding patient care extends beyond medicine-it also includes the relationships our students build with clients during some of their most difficult moments. This week, we’re proud to recognize DVM students Lilia Beal-Preston and Mikey Galvin, who received a Paws Up recognition from a client after caring for the client’s dog at the Purdue University Veterinary Hospital. The client shared, “Our beloved pup, Tonks, was admitted to Small Animal Internal Medicine. While we have been so stressed and devastated by her illness, Lilia and Mikey have been such phenomenal points of contact, and gone above and beyond in caring for Tonks. We are so grateful for their empathy, dedication, and support!”
