The student-run Dr. Skip Jackson Dog Jog is a 5K run / walk that attracts faculty, staff, students, alumni, the local community, and their dogs. Check-in will begin at 7:00 a.m. with the race starting at 8:00 a.m. from Lynn Hall and routing through campus on Saturday, September 23, 2023. Proceeds from this year’s race will go to Priority 4 Paws (P4P). P4P is a shelter medicine program providing high quality medical and surgical care for shelter animals while educating the next generation of veterinarians. The race committee is looking into collaborating with local animal shelters to bring adoptable dogs to join the race. Come run with us and find your new furry friend. All these dogs are looking for forever homes.
Register by Monday, September 4, to guarantee a t-shirt. Registrations received after this date will receive a t-shirt upon availability. Day of registration is possible but a t-shirt is not guaranteed.

Dr. Skip Jackson Dog Jog is named in honor of Dr. Horace (Skip) Jackson, PVM professor emeritus of veterinary physiology and biochemistry, and is one of the longest-running traditions of the Purdue Veterinary Conference.
