The Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine is committed to diversity and inclusion. It is not something we take lightly. Vet Up! Program

The Vet Up!® National Academy for Veterinary Medicine is a federally funded program for students throughout the country who are interested in veterinary medicine and are also considered historically underrepresented and/or underserved in the field. This includes first generation college, low-income, rural, and ethnic/racial minority students.

Award-Winning Diversity Excellence

For the fifth consecutive year, the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine has received the national Health Professions Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award. Presented by INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine, the oldest and largest diversity-focused publication in higher education, the award recognizes U.S. health colleges and universities that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion.
