About
Michelle Poe is incredibly excited and grateful to be a part of the Department of Comparative Pathobiology as a Research Technician for the HogenEsch Research Group. In August 2024, she graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in biology, and she has a wide range of interests within this field. Her particular areas of interest include immunology, autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, cell signaling pathways, and drug development and discovery. Her goal in the next few years is to begin graduate school in an area along these lines. Even when not in the lab, Michelle is still often found experimenting in her kitchen with gluten free cooking and baking (as is necessary with Celiac Disease). She also enjoys tabletop gaming, singing, and spending time with her cat, Fish.
