Evaluation of bacterial carbonic anhydrases as antibiotic therapeutic targets

Wednesday, October 25, 2023

Abstract

He will present his work about identifying and optimizing carbonic anhydrase inhibitors with antibacterial activity against the pathogens vancomycin resistant enterococci and Neisseria gonorrhoeae. Structure-activity relationship optimization, target identification, ligand-bound structural evaluation of molecules to the targets, in vivo pharmacokinetics and efficacy will all be presented.
