The annual Purdue Veterinary Alumni Reception hosted by the College of Veterinary Medicine at the Viticus Group WVC Annual Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, attracted an enthusiastic gathering of alumni and friends. Boilermaker spirit abounded as participants renewed acquaintances, visited with PVM faculty and staff who were in attendance, and heard an update on the college from Dean Willie Reed.

The reception was held Monday, February 19 at the Mandalay Bay Conference Center, which is the site for the annual WVC Conference. Attendees included Dr. Miguel Ortiz (PU DVM 2009) who currently is serving on the board of directors for the Viticus Group. Also attending was Viticus Group Board of Directors candidate Adam Miller (PU DVM 2007), and Dr. Shea Rolf (PU DVM 2017) who is running for a board seat in the election that will be held at next year’s conference.
