“Paws Up” – brought to you by the PVM Wellness Committee

Today, as finals week concludes and we look ahead to commencement, which now is just a week away, we share a message of appreciation for a DVM student in the graduating class of 2024, Allison Jones. A faculty member nominated Allison, saying, “Alli consistently exudes a radiant positivity, with a perpetual smile that welcomes open communication without any walls. Fearlessly embracing vulnerability, she showcases transparency, revealing doubts and weaknesses without reservation. Her presence contributes to an environment of authenticity, helping to uplift those around her to their highest potential. Continuously seeking growth, she exemplifies a perpetual learner, and infuses joy into every interaction and space she inhabits.”

These sentiments remind us of how we, as members of the PVM community, are positively impacted daily by our amazing students and we wish our newest class of DVM and Veterinary Nursing graduates, as well as our graduate students who are earning their advanced degrees, all the best as they take their next Giant Leap in their career journey.

Fostering a healthy work environment involves expressing appreciation and gratitude. Is there someone at PVM you would like to acknowledge today? It’s easy to make a Paws Up submission. – just follow this link. Submissions are published anonymously and may be edited for length. Any PVM staff, faculty, student, or team may be nominated by anyone in our college. For more information, visit the PVM Wellness Committee website.
