This week we share appreciation for Dr. Kenitra Hendrix, Associate Dean for the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratories, and Dr. Craig Bowen, Associate Director of the Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory and Department Head of Accessioning. A staff person shared, “ADDL had an intense nine months addressing Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) submissions and testing. Dr. Hendrix and Dr. Bowen chose one day per month this summer to personally cook the staff pancakes for a morale boost. It was a wonderful treat over the summer, and greatly appreciated. It’s really nice to see upper management care this much about their employees.”
