PVM appreciation luncheon celebrates faculty and staff
With the conclusion of the summer season rapidly approaching, faculty and staff at the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine were treated to a taco luncheon on Friday, August 14 in appreciation of their excellence and dedication throughout the year. Though the event couldn’t take place in the Lynn Hall Courtyard as originally planned, the rainy weather that day did not dampen the celebration of the college’s incredible faculty and staff.

About 400 faculty and staff members attended the college-sponsored event, with food provided by Two Guys Catering. The luncheon was an opportunity for PVM colleagues to come together and enjoy lunch, good conversation, and reflection after a busy and productive summer that included college faculty, staff and student involvement in the Indiana State Fair, the Boiler Vet Camps and the Vet Up! summer programs.
The event was organized by Susan Xioufaridou, director of alumni relations and special events, with the help of Andrea Kellogg, director of lifelong learning.
