This week Dr. Kristy Faulkner, a specialty intern in neurology, is being appreciated for supporting students’ morale and being a “baker extraordinaire,” taking extra steps in sharing her beautifully decorated cupcakes with the Small Animal Internal Medicine team. Students working with Dr. Faulkner stated, “In addition to filling our bellies with sugary deliciousness, she is also a great teammate in general and has a positive attitude towards working with her students.” Congratulations also are in order for Dr. Faulkner because she just matched through the Veterinary Internship & Residency Matching Program with BluePearl Pet Neurology in Farmington, Michigan (formerly known as Dogwood Veterinary Referral Center), where she will begin a three-year neurology residency in July!
