“Paws Up” – brought to you by the PVM Wellness Committee

Today we are shining the spotlight on Ramon Roberts, who is a student in the DVM class of 2027. A faculty member nominated him stating, “Ramon serves as a lead role model for our PVM League of VetaHumanz team. He leads the teaching of vet lessons to children in the after-school program at Bauer Family Resources. The Youth Services Supervisor has shared how much the kids love and respect Ramon. He has a captivating teaching style and is a natural at supporting and mentoring the children. One morning, Ramon came in to Lynn Hall with two bags full of awesome prizes (Hot Wheels, bug catchers, stuffed animals, snacks) to take to the kids. We reinforce positive behaviors at the end of each lesson where the kids can select a prize. Ramon had noticed the prize box was getting low and he used his own time and money to select special prizes that he knew the kids would enjoy to replenish the box. My heart is full!”
