The Purdue League of VetaHumanz team is validating an embedded superhero model to deliver a new movement-based K-4 veterinary science curriculum to increase the physical health and One Health science literacy of children, while promoting well-being and clinical competencies in veterinary role models.
In collaboration with our global partners, we are evaluating our model Global Engagement curriculum that produces veterinary students with communication, clinical, and collaborative skills, along with the practical experience needed, to tackle global One Health challenges.
Our Vet Up! programming serves as a model pipeline program for leveraging academic, industry, and private partnerships to prepare students for veterinary medical careers that address shortages of veterinarians in One Health areas such as public health, food safety/security, and rural practice.
