About
Hannah is an Academic Advisor for the Veterinary Technology Distance Learning (VNDL) program. Since the beginning of her undergraduate career in community college, Hannah knew she wanted to help students build confidence, utilize the resources available to them, and accomplish their goals. To prepare her for this work, Hannah earned a B.A. in Anthropology from Beloit College (2020) and a masters in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Northern Illinois University (2023). During her masters, she advised art students in NIU's School of Art and Design and conducted research about study abroad. To broaden her experiences with students, she moved into her current position in PVM in May 2024 where she advises online vet tech students. She has enjoyed helping students navigate busy schedules, rigorous education, and compounding responsibilities. While advising is a great passion of hers, she also loves to crochet and cross stitch while watching British comedy shows with her family, and exploring new restaurants and recipes. If you have any craft, food or TV show recommendations, send them her way!
