Theresa Cosper-Roberts is an instructional technologist for the veterinary nursing distance learning program. She earned her Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from San Juan College and her Bachelor of Arts from Thomas Edison State University. After becoming credentialed, she joined the Emergency & Critical Care Service at the LSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital. She later transitioned into the role of Surgical Training Center Manager for the School, where she oversaw the daily activities of the institution’s BSL-2 surgical teaching laboratory. In her role, she served as instructor of veterinary practice management for the ECFVG/PAVE program and as an assistant instructor of practice management for the DVM cohorts. Theresa completed 2 professional specialties in 2023, becoming a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager and Academy Certified Veterinary Educator: Distinguished Expert.
She is currently completing a master’s in educational technology and online learning, where her area of focus is the use of artificial intelligence in instructional design as a tool to reduce instructor cognitive overload. Theresa is a highly sought after speaker and has been published or featured in a variety of professional publications.
