Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in microbiology from Indiana University. Jennifer worked as a high school biology teacher, and moved on to work for a biotech company before coming to Purdue. She has spent the last 20 years at Purdue in various research labs, primarily with a molecular biology focus. She joined the Center for Paralysis Research in March 2020 as a Research Associate. She helps manage the research aspect of the group including regulatory documentation, ordering, and scheduling. Currently, Jennifer’s research involvement is focused on the initiation of cortical neuronal cultures that are used for various data collection experiments.
