Laurie is an Academic Advisor for the Veterinary Nursing Distance Learning (VNDL) program. She earned her AS in Veterinary Technology and BS in Business Management from Purdue. She also earned a MS from IU in Education. She started out working as an RVT in a small animal practice and then as a lab technician for Eli Lilly in Indianapolis for a few years. She then taught middle school science for several years before moving into higher education as an advisor in 2023. She greatly enjoys helping students maximize their potential and pursue their dreams and goals. In her free time, Laurie enjoys playing pickleball, hiking, kayaking, and camping. She also loves sports and enjoys watching her kids compete as well as watching and rooting for the Purdue Boilermakers!
