This week we offer a very special “Paws Up” to Dr. Kathy Salisbury as she nears retirement as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and concludes a remarkable career during which she gave more than 40 years of dedicated and steadfast service to the veterinary profession, the College of Veterinary Medicine and Purdue University. Her legacy is one of tireless commitment to educating students, excellence in leadership, and unwavering support for wellbeing in our college. A trusted mentor and strong advocate, she has guided so many with her wisdom, compassion, and integrity. Her positive impact will continue to ripple through the lives and careers of the countless individuals touched by her example, insight, expertise, teaching, mentoring, scholarship and inexhaustible enthusiasm for veterinary medical education. Thank you for everything, Dr. Salisbury—you will be deeply missed and always cherished at PVM.
