Purdue Veterinary Medicine students attending the Fall Extravaganza in the Veterinary Medical Library Friday evening, October 12, gather for a group photo.
Entertainment and food from around the world helped attract Purdue Veterinary Medicine students to the Fall Extravaganza hosted by the Office of Global Engagement and Purdue International Veterinary Student Association (IVSA) last Friday, October 12, in the Veterinary Medical Library. The Fall Extravaganza gives students a chance to learn about other students’ experiences abroad and the international learning opportunities that are offered through PVM. The event featured two group performances by Purdue Taal and the AfroRoyale Dance Troupe. Students also were able to peruse multiple tables highlighting the various locations where PVM students have studied abroad, including China, Nepal, Taiwan, Japan, South Africa, and Canada. In addition, PVM students provided delicious and authentic appetizers and desserts representative of the locations where they visited during their study abroad experiences.
As an extra bonus for attendees, the Fall Extravaganza included the announcement of the Global Engagement Photo Contest winners. And the winners are, listed by category:
