About
Roshnee Bose joined Purdue University in Fall 2025 as a graduate student in the PULSe program after completing her undergraduate studies in biotechnology in India. She was drawn to Purdue’s strong interdisciplinary research culture, state-of-the-art facilities, and the opportunity to participate in laboratory rotations, which allowed her to explore diverse research areas and lab environments. During her graduate training, she is excited to explore virology, vaccine development, and how the immune system puts up a fight. Roshnee is part of Dr. Mittal’s lab, where she works on adenoviral vector-based vaccine platforms and enjoys digging into research that blends innovation with real-world impact. When she is not in the lab, you will likely find her painting, experimenting with photography, or getting completely hooked on a suspense novel.
