Medicine of Aquatics, Amphibians, and Reptiles (MOAAR) Symposium

Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine’s (PVM) Veterinary Exotic Animal Club invites you to the 3rd biennial Medicine of Aquatics, Amphibians, and Reptiles (MOAAR) Symposium! The Symposium will provide veterinary professionals and students the opportunity to develop the skillsets for treating aquatic, amphibian, and reptilian patients by learning from experts in these fields.

The 2021 MOAAR Symposium will be held November 20th & 21st, 2021.

The Saturday session will begin at 9 am EST and end at 5:30 pm EST and the Sunday session will start at 12:30.

There will be two concurrent tracks: 1) Herptile Medicine and 2) Aquatic Medicine, that will run simultaneously allowing participants to have the option to move in between tracks. Dr. Chelsea Anderson D.V.M. and Associate Veterinarian at Georgia Aquarium will be presenting the Keynote Lecture on "Beluga Whale Reproduction."

The MOAAR Symposium is the sister symposium to the Medicine of Mammalian and Avian Species (MMAS), which is offered in alternating years.
