Purdue veterinary graduates have achieved a reputation coast to coast for providing top quality, compassionate veterinary medical care. Their success is tied to their training at the hands of dedicated faculty and staff who teach and exemplify excellence and caring.
The office of Alumni Relations and Public Affairs keeps our alumni in touch and involved in our School, and provides news to the public and information about the exciting things that are happening here.
Since the first class graduated 1963, Purdue Veterinary Medicine has graduated approximately 3,000 DVM degree alumni. The first two women to receive a DVM from Purdue were members of the second graduating class in 1964. In 1975 the School started a veterinary technology program which, since then has graduated almost 1,000 veterinary technicians and technologists.
