Purdue’s College of Veterinary Medicine Open House is an annual, free event for the public that highlights the veterinary profession. Co-chairs are responsible for running the event. They also have a team of committee members that help organize fundraising, social media publicity, and demonstrations.

Dr. Skip Jackson Dog Jog

The Dog Jog is an annual event that occurs in September during the PVM Fall Conference. It is a 5K race on Purdue’s campus. Runners can run/walk with their dogs. Proceeds go towards Purdue’s PetSafe program. The PetSafe program is a community service program to meet housing needs of pets whose owners are temporarily unable to give them care. Thanksgiving Dinner

Thanksgiving Dinner is an annual event that occurs in November. Faculty and students come together to share a meal and partake in games organized by Purdue SAVMA.

Fur Ball

The Fur Ball is an annual event held in January. It is a formal event that involves dancing and eating some delicious food!
