PVM Puts More Life in Lifetime Learning

August 6, 2014
Learning as a lifetime pursuit is more than just an idea at the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. The College has a long-standing tradition of providing continuing education for veterinary medical professionals, but in 2011, the Office of Lifelong Learning was created to further develop PVM continuing education initiatives. Since then, the office has worked to expand continuing education programs while also enhancing long-established traditions like the annual Fall Conference for the whole veterinary team. The range of lifelong learning offerings has grown to the point that we opted to dedicate this summer issue of the PVM Report to an overview of new and upcoming programs and special events, including the College’s flagship 2014 Fall Conference September 9-13. Take a few moments and discover how Lifelong Learning has taken on a life of its own at Purdue Veterinary Medicine.
