Are You Ready for Some Football...and CE?!

August 6, 2014

Purdue Veterinary Medicine takes an innovative approach to lifelong-learning this fall with a new offering that’s ready made for veterinary professionals who like the idea of faculty collaborating in the classroom before rival football teams clash on the gridiron.  On Saturday, October 11, Purdue Veterinary Medicine will host a morning of continuing education taught by faculty from both Purdue and Michigan State University, before participants head to a football tailgate and then watch the Purdue v. Michigan State football game in Ross-Ade Stadium.

The CE program will address the topic of Feline Adrenocortical Disease and will feature presentations by Purdue Professor of Small Animal Internal Medicine Catharine Scott-Moncrieff and MSU Professor Kent Refsal of the Endocrine Diagnostic Section from 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. Two continuing education credits will be offered for these lectures.  Following the lectures, attendees will be able to attend a tailgate sponsored by Elanco and Patterson at the Tent City located across from the Purdue Slayter Center, prior to the football game.  For more information, including instructions for registering and ordering football tickets, click here
