Utilizing these services will help to ensure timely\ndelivery and avoid potential delays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Consider Overnight \/ Next Day Air Shipping<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to the potential for courier services to be impacted by\nthe ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the ADDL highly recommends overnight or next-day\nair for <em>time sensitive<\/em> shipments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Large Volume Submissions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Please call ahead before submitting a large number of\nsamples to ensure that the ADDL has sufficient supplies and staff on hand to\nanalyze the samples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Submission Forms<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Please visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/vet\/addl\/\">ADDL\nwebsite<\/a> to access the most up to date <a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/vet\/addl\/Submissions-Forms.php\">submission forms<\/a>.\nRecently, many of our forms were updated to include additional tests. By\nutilizing the most current version of our submission forms, your diagnostic\nrequests will be processed efficiently and accurately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">On-site Delivery of Specimens<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For clients who plan to bring a specimen to the ADDL in West\nLafayette, Ind.:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Before coming to the ADDL, have your\nveterinarian complete the necropsy submission form and fax \/ email it to 765-494-9181\n\/ <a href=\"mailto:addl@purdue.edu\">addl@purdue.edu<\/a>.<\/li><li>When you arrive, stay in your vehicle and call\nthe ADDL front desk for instructions at 765-494-7440.&nbsp; Be sure to give your phone number in case you\nget disconnected and they need to reach back out to you.<\/li><li>The ADDL staff will relay necessary information\nto a technician and then direct you to pull around to the loading dock.&nbsp; Stay in your vehicle and the technician will come\nout to get the specimen from you.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For clients who plan to bring a specimen to the Heeke ADDL\nin Dubois, Ind.:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Before coming to the Heeke ADDL, have your veterinarian\ncomplete the necropsy submission form and fax \/ email it to 812-678-3412 \/ <a href=\"mailto:addl@purdue.edu\">addl@purdue.edu<\/a>.<\/li><li>When you arrive, stay in your vehicle and call\nthe Heeke ADDL front desk for instructions at 812-678-3401.&nbsp; Be sure to give your phone number in case you\nget disconnected and they need to reach back out to you.<\/li><li>The Heeke ADDL staff will relay necessary\ninformation about where to go with your samples.&nbsp; Drive to the designated location, stay in\nyour vehicle and the technician will come out to get the specimen from you, or\nlab staff will give further instructions about where to leave the sample<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Remember (for\neither Lab):&nbsp; be sure you have provided\nthe necessary documentation (submission form) or have it with you when you\narrive.&nbsp; Your sample cannot be accepted\nwithout the submission form, and due to safety protocols we cannot hand you a\nform to complete in person.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during\nthese challenging circumstances.&nbsp;
