Dr. Kiupel was recognized for volunteering his time, energy, and professionalism to substantially enrich and advance the AAVLD in the field of veterinary diagnostic medicine.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Kiupel earned his DVM degree at Freie Universitat Berlin in Germany in 1996. He is currently a professor and section chief of anatomic pathology in the Department of Pathobiology and Diagnostic Investigation and the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory at the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
