She earned her DVM and PhD degrees at Kansas\nState University and her MBA degree at the University of Kansas. \u201cI am truly so excited to be here,\u201d Dr. Lowery said. \u201cI was eager to get here as soon as I possibly could to join the team.&nbsp; Everybody I talked to outside of Purdue commented on the strength of the University which solidified my decision.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Describing herself as an open and transparent person, Dr.\nLowery said she knows she has a steep learning curve ahead. \u201cEverybody has been\nso gracious and I appreciate that you\u2019re all willing to help me up that\nlearning curve,\u201d Dr. Lowery said.&nbsp; \u201cI\u2019ll\nask a lot of questions.&nbsp; I want your\nfeedback and I want you to ask me a lot of questions as well.&nbsp; I look forward to taking us to the next\nlevel.\u201d\n\nDr. Lowery\u2019s appointment was effective February\n1.&nbsp;
