(Purdue University photo\/Rebecca Wilcox)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Purdue\nUniversity College of Veterinary Medicine has entered into a partnership with <a href=\"https:\/\/ethosvet.com\/\">Ethos\nVeterinary Health<\/a>\nand VetBloom, an innovative veterinary learning ecosystem, to create a pathway\nthat allows members to earn an online veterinary nursing degree through Purdue University.\nThe new partnership will allow <a href=\"https:\/\/vetbloom.com\/\">VetBloom<\/a> members to enroll in Purdue Veterinary\nMedicine\u2019s Veterinary Nursing Distance Learning program, whose graduates earn\nan associate in applied science degree and receive the preparation necessary to\nseek state credentialing as a Registered\/Licensed\/Credentialed Veterinary\nTechnician.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis partnership will allow VetBloom member practices to grow their talent and give their team members a pathway that not only improves their career opportunities but helps fill a critical need for well-trained veterinary nurses,\u201d said Dr. Patrick Welch, Ethos chief knowledge officer and founder of VetBloom. Dr. Welch explained that VetBloom and Ethos are committed to providing training and educational opportunities to the veterinary community, and the partnership with Purdue Online is an extension of this commitment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOne of our goals is to facilitate and accelerate the learning, growth, and engagement of individuals and teams throughout the veterinary industry,\u201d said Dr. Welch. \u201cThis partnership with Purdue provides us with another opportunity to achieve that goal and help to facilitate a culture of continuous learning and growth within our member practices.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Bianca Zenor, director of the Purdue <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/vet\/nursing\/\" target=\"_blank\">Veterinary Nursing program<\/a>, said the partnership with Ethos and VetBloom will benefit all students as it helps to raise awareness of Purdue&#8217;s Veterinary Nursing Distance Learning program.&nbsp; \u201cThis partnership provides access for those who have worked in the veterinary field to be able to grow in their careers with a nationally recognized, AVMA accredited program,&#8221; Dr. Zenor said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The VetBloom\nand College of Veterinary Medicine partnership was facilitated by Purdue\nOnline, which supports colleges and corporate partners to create new\nopportunities for workforce development that amplifies pathways for employee\ncareers.
