{"id":5090,"date":"2019-05-17T12:58:47","date_gmt":"2019-05-17T16:58:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/qa.vet.purdue.edu\/news\/?p=5090"},"modified":"2019-08-23T11:11:13","modified_gmt":"2019-08-23T15:11:13","slug":"in-memory-dr-keith-kitson-kit-logue-pu-dvm-80","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vet.purdue.edu\/news\/in-memory-dr-keith-kitson-kit-logue-pu-dvm-80.php","title":{"rendered":"In Memory: Dr. Keith Kitson (Kit) Logue (PU DVM \u201980)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Purdue Veterinary Medicine family is saddened by news that Dr. Keith Kitson Logue, immediate past-president of the <a href=\"https:\/\/vet.purdue.edu\/alumni\/pvaa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Purdue Veterinary Alumni Association<\/a>, passed away May 6 at his home in South Bend, Ind.&nbsp; He was 64.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vet.purdue.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/IMG_2541_sm.jpg\" alt=\"Dr. Logue pictured during a PVAA board meeting\" class=\"wp-image-5095\" width=\"325\" height=\"369\" srcset=\"https:\/\/vet.purdue.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/IMG_2541_sm.jpg 605w, https:\/\/vet.purdue.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/IMG_2541_sm-264x300.jpg 264w, https:\/\/vet.purdue.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/IMG_2541_sm-207x235.jpg 207w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 325px) 100vw, 325px\" \/><figcaption>Dr. Keith Logue was a dedicated member of the Purdue Alumni Association Board of Directors, serving multiple terms, including a term as president.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Logue earned his Purdue DVM degree in 1980, and went on to work in private practice for South Bend area veterinarians and mentors, including Dr. Robert Beebe of Gilmer Park Animal Clinic, and fellow Purdue graduates, Drs. Richard Goebel and Kathleen Neuhoff of the Magrane Pet Medical Center. In 1983 he co-founded the South Bend Animal Emergency Clinic along with fellow South Bend area practitioners.
