Headlined, \u201cSupport the next generation Purdue Veterinary Teaching Hospital,\u201d the website includes a message from Dean Willie Reed and provides details about how the Veterinary Teaching Hospital benefits Indiana residents.  The site explains the hospital\u2019s role in supporting veterinary medical education as well as disease research and medical discovery.  The site also lists organizations that have voiced support for the project, includes a set of \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/vet.purdue.edu\/new-hospital\/faqs.php\">Frequently Asked Questions<\/a>,\u201d and provides a giving link for anyone who wishes to donate toward the new facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Purdue University is requesting $73 million in state funding for the new Veterinary Teaching Hospital.  In addition, the University has committed $35 million, which is inclusive of PVM fundraising efforts, to the $108 million project.  The existing Veterinary Teaching Hospital treats more than 20,000 cases per year and provides the only emergency veterinary medical service in Tippecanoe County.
