Dr. Sandra San Miguel (PU DVM \u201993; PhD \u201997), Purdue Veterinary Medicine\u2019s associate dean for engagement, is featured in Purdue’s “Footprints” video blog as part of the 150th Anniversary celebration.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

As part of its 150th<\/sup> Anniversary celebration, Purdue University has created the \u201cFootprints\u201d video blog<\/a> to tell stories about the \u201cGiant Leaps\u201d that Boilermakers have made, are making, or plan to make.\u00a0 The newest video shines the spotlight on Dr. Sandra San Miguel (PU DVM \u201993; PhD \u201997), Purdue Veterinary Medicine\u2019s associate dean for engagement.\u00a0 The video<\/a> focuses on how Dr. San Miguel took a \u201cGiant Leap\u201d by taking charge of the College of Veterinary Medicine\u2019s outreach programs after years of teaching as a professor in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, and now is leaving her footprint in the lives of children by inspiring them to develop an interest in caring for animals. The Footprints blog is described as a collection of individual videos showcasing the stories of people who have done well by Purdue and by whom Purdue has done well.\u00a0 The blog is accessible through the University\u2019s 150 Years of Giant Leaps<\/a> website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
